Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully. They govern your access to and use of Social Poster.

Last updated: May 20, 2026

01Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Social Poster, a product of XtroEdge ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, connecting a social media account, or otherwise using Social Poster (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

02Description of the Service

Social Poster is a software-as-a-service platform that lets you design, schedule, and publish content to third-party social media platforms from a single workspace. Supported platforms currently include Facebook Pages, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and Threads, along with design and storage integrations such as Canva and Google Drive.

The Service publishes content to these platforms only when you explicitly instruct it to — either by publishing immediately or by scheduling a post for a future time.

03Accounts and Registration

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

04Connected Social Accounts

To publish on your behalf, the Service connects to third-party platforms using OAuth. When you connect an account, the relevant platform issues us access tokens scoped to the permissions you approve during consent.

You authorize Social Poster to use those tokens solely to perform the actions you request — for example, uploading media, creating posts, reading the profile information needed to display your connected account, and refreshing tokens so scheduled posts can run.

You may disconnect any account at any time from the Connected Accounts page. Disconnecting revokes our stored tokens for that account.

05Your Content

You retain all ownership of the text, images, videos, and other materials you upload or create with the Service ("Your Content"). We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, transform (for example, resize or transcode for a specific platform), and transmit Your Content for the sole purpose of operating the Service and publishing on your behalf.

You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have all rights necessary to publish it to each connected platform.

06Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Publish content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, hateful, or that violates the rules of any connected platform.
  • Send spam, engage in deceptive practices, or artificially inflate engagement.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users’ data, or connected platforms.
  • Reverse-engineer, resell, or abuse the Service or its APIs.

You must also comply with the terms and policies of every third-party platform you connect, including Meta Platform Terms, the TikTok Developer Terms, the YouTube Terms of Service, the Google API Services User Data Policy, the X Developer Agreement, and the LinkedIn and Pinterest developer policies.

07Third-Party Platforms

The Service depends on APIs operated by third parties. Those platforms may change, restrict, or remove API functionality at any time, which can affect the Service. We are not responsible for the availability, behavior, or policies of third-party platforms.

A platform may reject, delay, or remove a post for reasons outside our control (for example, content review, rate limits, or account status). We surface platform error messages where possible, but we cannot guarantee any specific publishing outcome.

08Subscription and Billing

The Service offers a free tier and may offer paid plans. Paid plans, where applicable, are billed in advance on a recurring basis and are non-refundable except where required by law.

We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

09Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by XtroEdge and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-transferable right to use the Service; they do not transfer any ownership to you.

10Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any post will be successfully delivered to a third-party platform.

11Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, XtroEdge and Social Poster will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100 if you are on a free plan.

12Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required to protect the Service, other users, or connected platforms.

On termination, we revoke stored platform tokens and delete or anonymize your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
